Mick Creedon is Chairman for atmaana’s Security and Emergency Services Sector.
With over 37 years of experience in policing, Mick spent a decade in his final role as the Chief Constable in Derbyshire. He served as a detective at every level in the service and has extensive experience of homicide investigations, of corruption and serious and organised crime work and has carried out many sensitive and high profile external inquiries on behalf of other forces and agencies.
During his career, Mick was the national policing lead for the police service in matters including serious and organised crime, covert policing, investigative interviewing, money laundering, financial investigation and asset recovery. He was also the policing lead for the development of the network of multi-force and multi-agency Regional Organised Crime Units.
Alongside his work for atmaana, Mick is a senior associate fellow of the Royal United Services Institute for Defence and Security Studies (RUSI) and a visiting fellow at both Leicester and Derby Universities.
